Enjoying nature's beauty is easy to do year-round at this beautiful park in West Chester, Ohio. Nestled along the east fork of the Mill Creek, Keehner Park is a great spot for hiking. Along with the 2 mile wooded trail, visitors can also find playgrounds, picnic shelters, an amphitheater, and an 1800s log cabin while exploring the 123-acre park. Fresh & Green Spring
Springtime is always a gorgeous time to get outdoors; the snow has melted away, wildflowers begin to flourish, and warm weather is just around the corner.
The creek running through Keehner Park is especially peaceful at this time, creating a nice backdrop for hiking in the Spring. The 2 mile loop takes visitors to the creek often, with multiple picture-perfect stops full of greenery and small waterfalls.
Sweet Summertime
Hiking through the hot temperatures of Summer is easier with help from the shaded trees and flowing creek. In addition to exploring, the Summer months also bring another fun activity to the park...

Towards the end of August, the vibrant colors of Ohio's Fall foliage begin to set in and hiking through the hills at Keehner Park is especially stunning.
This is also a popular time to utilize the trail for creeking, mountain biking, photography expeditions, fossil hunting, and dog walking. Many families find it to be the perfect spot for kid-friendly nature trips too.
Sparkling White Winters
Although it may be a less popular time to be outside, this snow-kissed nature trail makes for a true Winter wonderland. Be cautious of icy spots, but don't let that deter you from enjoying the beauty.
