The Alternative Path-Coexist is a haven for those who value self-expression. The boutique offers an eclectic mix of handmade goods and carefully curated items designed to inspire balance and creativity in daily life.
It's one of the largest metaphysical shops in Ohio and the tri-state area, offering more than 12,000 products. Visitors can browse a selection of ethically sourced crystals, handmade journals, artwork, essential oils, jewelry, and locally sourced treasures, making the perfect gift or a meaningful keepsake for yourself.
This locally-owned business first opened its doors in 2018, when the owners saw a need for their shop in the community.
Together, owners Gregory Hancock and Marty Snyder, with their daughter Megan Snyder, have built a reputation of authenticity and care.
The Alternative Path-Coexist prides itself on providing a welcoming environment for all. "We treat our customers like family," says general manager Megan Snyder, "It's about creating an experience where everyone feels welcome."
Visitors will not find anything commercial on the shelves, as the shop prioritizes local vendors and authentic products, as well as honest pricing.
"Some of my personal favorite items are the crystals," says Megan, "And our books are also really popular because they are hard to find."
Beyond retail, The Alternative Path-Coexist serves as a community hub. It's a place where people can slow down, connect with others, and explore new things. The team also likes to give back through local outreach, helping their community in Hamilton, Ohio.
Sister Store: The Posh Pagan
Located just three doors down from The Alternative Path-Coexist is their sister store, The Posh Pagan. This shop opened one year after Coexist to offer a wide selection of alternative clothing.
Here, visitors can shop a variety of clothing, accessories, handmade jewelry, backpacks, purses, and more. Visitors can also find products featuring popular movie characters, like these Jack Skellington earrings pictured below, from the Disney movie The Nightmare Before Christmas.
