It’s hard not to love ice cream! We’re lucky here in Butler County, Ohio to have so many delicious ice cream options. Here's a sneak peak into some the Iconic summer dessert spots!
Flub’s Dari-ette
This ice cream locale is rich in history and flavors. Serving up sherbet, Italian ice, and creamy ice cream cones topped with goodies since 1965 and known for their famous Cyclones.
Try Jenny's Peanut Butter Oreo a try, a vanilla ice cream mixed with peanut butter and Oreo toppings! Jenny's Peanut Butter Oreo Cyclone is just on of the 44 cyclones offered at Flub's. Keep an eye out for the Flubmobile, which can be found all around Butler County for ice cream on the go!
The Cone
Have you ever had an ice cream cone served to you out of an actual giant cone? This eye-catching building brings visitors from all over for the unique building and tasty treats. The Cone has been serving ice cream in the West Chester shop since July of 1995.
One of their most popular menu items is the orange & vanilla twist cone. Another fan favorite is the Oreo Explosion Wizzard, a flavorful mix of vanilla ice cream, regular Oreos, Golden Oreos, Marshmallow and Hot fudge! The Mobile Cone can be found on the go, and can be seen at Butler County festivals, fairs and other large events.
Spring Street Treats
This popular ice cream spot is located in the charming town of Oxford, near Miami University.

You can have delicious soft-serve in your choice of a cake or waffle cone, bowl, shake, malt, sundae or mix-up. They offer Ice cream sandwiches as well! Spring Street Treats has their own mini-park outside with bleachers, picnic tables, swings and games.
Swaffy's Ice Cream
This family run and family owned ice cream shop is a local favorite in Monroe.
Stop in for delicious soft-serve flavors, classic ice cream sundaes, blizzards and more. The peanut butter soft-serve with a chocolate dip top is always a top recommendation! The blueberry and cotton candy are also popular, but new flavors are rotated daily.
The Dip
The Dip names their team of ice cream pros, “The Dipsters.” Here you’ll find soft-serve ice cream with a seaside theme.
Grab a seat at one of the picnic tables or under the sparkling gazebo. The Dip serves soft-serve ice cream, yogurt, pure fruit smoothies, sandwiches, hamburgers and hot dogs. Pro Tip: Bring your dog with you for this outing, they serve doggie cones!
The Twist Ice Cream Co.
The motto of Twist Ice Cream is “Happiness Guaranteed.” Twist offers up soft-serve, milkshakes, choco tacos, sundaes, slushes, arctic twists and glaciers.

Barn-N-Bunk provides a nostalgic ice cream shop experience. Here you’ll be able to enjoy your indulgence in a 1900s barn in the ice cream and candy shop.
16 flavors of Velvet Premium ice cream are served, sundaes, shakes, banana splits and floats are on the menu. Want to take a sweet treat to go? The candy shop has homemade fudge, caramels, Amish chocolates and homemade kettle corn.
