Sweeten up your summer with a trip to Molly’s Cupcakes. These Italian buttercream frosted treats are known to many as the “best cupcakes they’ve ever tasted” and you can now devour them in Liberty Township. Molly’s Cupcakes is in the business of bringing joy through sweets and admiring life’s little indulgences.
Molly’s Cupcakes humble beginnings stem from celebration. Founder John Nicolaides opened the shop to commemorate his third-grade teacher, Miss Molly. Molly baked her beyond delicious cupcakes for every single one of her student’s birthdays. They’re the kind of treat that makes every day feel like your birthday. The Liberty Center location is only one of three in the nation.
Owner, Anita Karande has curated her shop to be a place that escapes the everyday hustle and encourages people to treat themselves. Board games and chalk board walls fill the space with color. The beauty inside the display case automatically fills you with joy. There are nearly 20 flavors to choose from, each one draped in butter cream icing, rainbow sprinkles, and center filled with icing. You can also create your own confection by choosing your cake base and adding toppings from the decoration station.

For those who appreciate chocolatey richness, indulge yourself on White Chocolate Strawberry, Chocolate Decadence, Cookie Monster, Peanut Butter Nutella and S’more.
Lighter, Fruit-based Options
For a light and summer dessert, choose the Peach Cobbler, Blueberry Cheesecake, or Crème Brulee.

It’s always been Anita’s dream to open up a place like this. “There’s nothing more fulfilling than to see people smiling after they’ve indulged in their favorite cupcakes,” says Anita.
