Middletown Arts Center

The Middletown Arts Center (MAC) is longtime partners with Abilities First, and they regularly welcome groups of youth and adults with special abilities to enjoy the MAC. They offer complimentary sunglasses and noise-cancelling headphones for visitors. They also have a guide that was created for visitors so they know what to expect when they are visiting the MAC.

Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park

1763 Hamilton Cleves Rd, Hamilton, OH

A serene and peaceful setting outdoor is dotted by monumental pieces of outdoor sculpture. More than 400+ acres of wide open spaces, beautiful meadows, tranquil ponds, and hiking trails make Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park an ideal place to relax and get into nature. Inside the Pyramid House, visitors can view the ancient sculpture exhibit, featuring over 70 Greek, Roman, Etruscan, Syrian and Egyptian antiquities dating to 1550 BCE. 

Through a collaboration with the Clovernook Center for the Blind, there are nine tactile sculptures — replicas of existing pieces, designed to offer a hands-on experience for visitors who are blind, visually impaired, neurodivergent, or those who prefer tactile learning.

These local art studios offer a warm and welcoming environment to paint your own pottery. Choose from a variety of different glazes and application tools for your clay project. Friendly staff will walk visitors through the project step-by-step, ensuring a fun learning environment for all.

Haute Fusion

1050 Central Ave, Middletown, OH


Create beautiful glass art at Haute Fusion. This teaching studio, classroom, and retailer of stained glass supplies is the go-to spot for fused glass workshops and beautiful glass art. Owner and instructor John Ferrando used to work for a non-profit art studio that served artists with developmental disabilities. The classes offered at Haute Fusion are for all ages and abilities.

The National Voice of America Museum of Broadcasting 

8070 Tylersville Rd, Crosley Blvd, West Chester Township, OH

The National Voice of America Museum of Broadcasting is a small museum that's big in history. On this site from World War II into the 1990s, the US government relayed important radio messages to people around the world. The building now houses a museum that tells the story of broadcasting from early inventions to today. The space is quiet and offers an informative, hands-on experience for visitors. Background noise is minimal and there are no flashing lights.
