Liberty Township Historical Society Holiday Open House

Visit the Hughes Schoolhouse for a Holiday Open House presented by the Liberty Township Historical Society. See how children learned “Readin’, Ritin’ and Rithmetic” around 1900. Bring your camera and take holiday photos around the decorated tree or a festive holiday “selfie” on the “Dunce” stool. You can also ring the school bell to call the class to order. There will be Barker ornaments for sale that depict historic local buildings, including the Hughes School House. Refreshments will be served.
