The USS Cincinnati served as a stalwart guardian of national security during the Cold War era. Commissioned in 1978 and decommissioned in 1996, this West Chester landmark includes original pieces like the conning tower, rear rudder, and the reserve generator known as "The Big Red Machine." About 100 tons of salvaged parts of the decommissioned sub have been made into the full-sized replica of the famed Navy vessel that offers a unique educational experience.
