Nothing says July 4th quite like sizzling burgers, fresh lemonade, and brilliant fireworks. The Butler County communities are hosting spectacular fireworks extravaganzas, festivals, and parades in 2024. Here is our guide to all things red, white, and blue!
OXFORD FREEDOM FESTIVAL PARADE: JUNE 30, 2024
5pm Beginning at Kramer Elementary School
The Freedom Festival Parade begins at Kramer Elementary and travels south on College Avenue and then east on High Street and ends at Poplar Street.
OXFORD FREEDOM FESTIVAL: JULY 3, 2024
Fireworks 10pm at Oxford Community Park
Enjoy axe throwing, large inflatables, carriage rides, face painting and more! There will also be live bands, food trucks, and fireworks to close out the day!
RED, WHITE, & KABOOM: JULY 3, 2024
Fireworks 10pm at Harbin Park
This beloved Independence Day celebration in Fairfield goes BIG! This year's fireworks will be higher, and easier to view throughout the city. The fireworks display will launch on Wednesday, July 3rd at 10pm. Before heading to Harbin Park for the fireworks, enjoy the Cincinnati Circus from 4-7pm at Village Green Park. There will be food trucks and fun!
MIDDLETOWN'S INDEPENDENCE DAY FESTIVAL: JULY 3, 2024
Fireworks 10pm at Smith Park
Join Middletown for a festival full of fireworks, face painting, games, live music and more! The festival will be from 4pm – 11pm at Smith Park in Middletown.
TAPS, TASTES, AND TUNES: JULY 4 – JULY 6, 2024
At the National Voice of America Museum of Broadcasting
Taps, Tastes, and Tunes will be hosted at the National Voice of America Museum of Broadcasting! Hours are: July 4 from 12pm-11pm, July 5 from 12pm-11pm, and July 6 from 12pm-11pm. There will be live music, activities, and food and drinks all weekend to celebrate! The main event - the fireworks show - will light up the sky on July 5 at 10pm!
MIDDLETOWN'S INDEPENDENCE PARADE: JULY 4, 2024
10am - 12pm Starting at Smith Park
Celebrate the 4th of July with a spectacular parade. The route begins at Smith Park before traveling to Main Street and turning left on Central Ave.
HAMILTON 4TH OF JULY PARADE & FIREWORKS: JULY 4, 2024
Fireworks 10pm at Veterans Park
This Hamilton community tradition starts with a parade followed by open hours at historical sites, a free concert at RiversEdge with doors opening at 6pm, and fireworks at 10pm launched from Veterans Park. View the Parade Route Map.
LIBERTY TOWNSHIP ANNUAL 4TH OF JULY PARADE: JULY 4, 2024
9am at Lakota East High School
Liberty Township's community organizations get decked out in 4th of July style for the annual parade. Festivities begin at 9am from Lakota East High School, will continue to Wyandot Lane, and makes its way back to the high school.
LIGHT UP THE SKY MONROE: JULY 4, 2024
5pm at Monroe Community Park
Light Up The Sky will celebrate Independence Day again this year! Tons of food booths, activities, crafts, and live music will be provided. Festivities begin at 5pm with a fireworks display at 10 pm at the Monroe Community Park.
